The Component Catalogue for machine elements
shows the offers of different manufacturers for selected eCl@ss-classification to compare them. This catalogue contains more than 5000 manufacturers and approx. 500 product groups. It is written on ASP.NET MVC, based on a SQL data bank (Microsoft SQL Server in 2016) and Microsoft SharePoint Foundation in 2013. eCl@ss is the branch-covering product data standard for the classification and definitely description of products and services.
The most important components of the application are
- Front-End web application for the product search and manufacturer’s search in this extensive catalogue
- Back-Office for the product manufacturers: edit Company informations, add and edit products
- Technical Back-Office for the system and content administrator.
Functions
- Navigation by eCl@ss-classification , consider product information and manufacturer’s information
- Searchfunction:Search products and manufacturer in the data bank
- Add and edit manufacturer, determine product signs
- Add other categories and product groups
- Responsive design: well executable on all common devices.
